Specifications include, but are not limited to: Aluminum Alodine Coils, Type A, Size 1 Must be 0.032 +/- .0001 x 12.125 wide gauge aluminum. Coils must be #3105 alloy with H12 temper. All rolls of aluminum must have a cardboard center approximately ¼ inch thick to protect the center of the coil and reduce waster. Coils inside diameter must be 20”. Each coil must be a minimum of 1,000 pounds and a maximum of 2,000 pounds. Must not exceed 4,000 pounds per skid. Coils must be delivered tier lift on flat bed trucks for side loading. Aluminum temper and properties must conform to ASTM-B-209. The alloy must have properties of giving minimal satisfactory results when embossed with male and female dies into license plates. Alloy must consist of either chromate or non-chromate conversion coating.
