Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, services and expertise required to perform Lake/Pond Vegetation maintenance work for the City as specified herein ; Contractor will provide bi-weekly inspections (2 times per month only) of park lakes/ponds with treatment as necessary to maintain acceptable control of nuisance aquatic vegetation during the contract period. An additional facility (Cottonwood Lake) will only receive treatments if specifically requested in writing by City. Materials used in this maintenance program are to be registered with the U.S. EPA and Indiana State Chemists Office for use in lakes and ponds for control of aquatic vegetation. The primary responsibility of the Contractor shall be the chemical suppression of nuisance aquatic vegetation to allow desirable recreational use of project lakes; All treatments are subject to requirements of aquatic vegetation control permits issued by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Division of Fish & Wildlife (DNR). Work under any resulting contract shall not commence until DNR permits are received. ; It is the total responsibility of the Contractor to coordinate any disruption of traffic due to applications work with the DPR and Law Enforcement Agencies.
