Specifications include, but are not limited to: Phase 1 includes Nuclear Engineering Education Building 1 (NEEB1), which will be a renovation of the existing Range Science Field Lab (Building 1183) located adjacent and immediately to the south of the Nuclear Science Center. Phase 2 includes Nuclear Engineering Education Building 2 (NEEB2), which is currently envisioned as a separate newly constructed building located to the west of NEEB1. The selected A/E firm may also choose to explore design of NEEB2 as an attached addition to NEEB1 (Building 1183).; NEEB1 will be a renovation of the existing Range Science Field Lab Building located at 1183 Fishtank Road which is an approximately 9,200 GSF freestanding steel framed building and surrounding 1.4 acre property.; NEEB2 is currently planned as a separate, newly constructed laboratory building located on the adjacent property immediately to the West of NEEB1. NEEB2 is envisioned as a pre-engineered metal building with large open high bay laboratories and related support spaces.
