Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide new SAN, install, configure/implement, test,provide training, and five years of maintenance and support to replace Storage Area Network(SAN). The awarded vendor will assist in migrating the data from the existing SAN to the newSAN solution. A storage solution such asa DELL EMC POWERMAX 2000, or an equivalentsystem, as this system can be configured to meet RIAC’s SAN requirements. RIAC is open toreviewing any proposed equivalent system capable of meeting the stated requirements (below).This SAN solution shall be a highly available design, provide connectivity between the airport’stwo (2) existing data centers, and the new SAN (storage array) solution. The design shall be“stackable” or modular design, e.g., the ability to add additional storage while retaining single IPaddress / portal for administration of all storage in the stack and have the ability to add storageand network ports with different capabilities. The solution must have a live heart-beat or manager-quorum design between locations to ensure real time replication of data while ensuring theintegrity of viable data. The proposed system must have an automatic fail-over and fail-backbetween sites that does not require manual intervention.
