Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lawn mowing and edge trimming services will need to be performed no earlier than 7:00 AM and no later than 8:00 PM, Monday through Sunday.; The Contractor is required to perform edge trimming and lawn mowing in the areas colored green on Attachment A. ; The Contractor will be expected to select equipment suitable for lawn mowing and edge trimming for the areas shown on Attachment A.; Contractor is expected to use caution to not scalp trees and/or fence posts while weed eating. ; Sidewalks and parking areas need to be blown off and cleared of clippings after each mowing.; Lawn clippings will need to be gathered and disposed of off-site to ensure neat appearances of lawn areas.; The Contractor will be liable for damages caused lawn mowing and edge trimming. The State expects the Contractor to take reasonable precautions to prevent damage to trees, fences, fixtures, landscaping and other features in or near areas being mowed. Precautions include but are not limited to reviewing the site for potential hazards and ensuring the contractor’s employees are fully apprised of these limitations and hazards. The Contractor is responsible for selecting appropriate lawn mowing and edge trimming equipment that minimizes property damage. ; It is the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure lawn mowing and edge trimming equipment has as required by law in the State of Montana. The State reserves the right to terminate this contract for any act or activity on the part of the contractor which the State deems to be unsafe.; Only equipment operators in the employment of the Contractor are allowed on the premises. The Contractor must ensure employees are not under the influence of intoxicating substances. Discovery of equipment operators under the influence of intoxicating substances is cause for immediate termination of the contract.
