Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is requesting bids from interested contractors to provide services to remove two small bathrooms in the Assessment offices and make repairs to sheetrock, painting, ceiling tiles, carpet tiles, rubber base, and various plumbing and electrical adjustments. The complete demo of the existing bathrooms will need to be performed by a licensed abatement company, due to all the surfaces tested positive for hazardous materials. Once the abatement is completed the demoed area will be repaired to match the surrounding office finishes. In addition, the departments new office furniture will need to be connected to power and this will require coordination to determine the location of the power drops for the new furniture and make the needed connections after the furniture is installed.
