Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Bloomington Street Department (hereinafter “City”) is issuing a Quote Request to select qualified Contractor(s) to provide sidewalk repairs/replacements, and maintenance services to private property owners in targeted, prioritized city locations as determined by the City. The City will assist private property owners with the cost of sidewalk repairs/replacements, or maintenance services within the public right-ofway in front of each property. Property owners will be required to submit an application and meet the preapproval requirements of the Sidewalk Repair Assistance Program for specified locations before repairs will begin. Qualified Contractors shall be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, and tools required to perform the sidewalk repairs/replacements, and maintenance services requested and approved by the City. The City shall furnish all concrete material needed for each approved property, but the Contractor shall be responsible for scheduling delivery of all concrete material to each property. All work and materials shall conform to the most current Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Standard Specifications for Sidewalks including Standard and Monolithic, and current supplements thereto.
