Specifications include, but are not limited to: The consultant will be expected to provide the engineering and surveying review of transportation project Right of Way needs throughout the life of each project. Services of a Delaware L icensed Professional Land Surveyor will be required to prepare right of way plans, perfo rm boundary surveys in conjunction with the Department’s disposal of excess lands, property management, and other survey services as required. Services include, but are not limited to: • Review of DelDOT Right of Way plans to include organized right of way research, verification, and review documents in support of DelDOT Transportation Solutions, Planning, and other sections as needed as per the Team Support Manual, the Design Resource Center, and DelDOT standards; • Perform deed research and title searches as needed statewide on projects or individual requests to the level required to be confident all encumbrances are included as per the Team Support Manual; • Preparation of Right -of-Way plans, plats, and deeds, including the signing and sealing by a Professional Land Surveyor as required; • Boundary surveys in conjunction wi th the Department’s disposal of excess lands, property management program, and other survey services as required; • Preparation of As-Acquired Plans for Department Right-of-Way Contracts; • Assist in updates to the DelDOT Team Support Manual and the DelDOT Survey Manual; • Modification of structures as part of on-going property management program as requested through the DelDOT Real Estate Section.
