Alaska Railroad is seeking to purchase up to 42 new OR remanufactured GRS 5F switch machines per the following specifications FOB Anchorage, Alaska. Typical Units: Alstom GRS 5F Specifications: Switch machines will be powered with 110 VDC and include 110VDC heaters Switch machines will include wide notch internal lock rods Switch machines will include internal point detector rods Switch machines will be painted black and have aluminum covers Must be securely crated for shipping and labeled per location (see location list below) Remanufactured units must use parts that are OEM quality or higher Remanufactured units must be fully tested prior to shipment and be ready for deployment immediately upon receipt
