Specifications include, but are not limited to: A third-party administrator to provide claims adjustment services. 1. Adjust all claims for accidents for which workers' compensation claims are presented. 2. Contact all claimants, whose claim involves lost time, by personal contact, phone or in writing, within twenty-four (24) hours of the receipt of the Employer's First Report of Injury and handle all claims in accordance with accepted adjusting procedures complying with the provisions set forth under Delaware Workers' Compensation Law. 3. Prepare and file with the Department of Labor agreements and final receipts, and any other forms required by statute or rule. 4. Issue drafts to the claimant for compensation and/or to the medical facility for the medical expenses as required by Agreement on Compensation or Board order. Payments shall be in accordance with the workers' compensation laws of the State of Delaware. 5. Maintain claim records and submit comprehensive reports which allows the State to make a proper analysis of this exposure. An OSHA 300 Log must be provided. Monthly reports of summary cost by department will be required. Summary reports by specific DDS (department, division, section) code will be required on a semiannual basis for all fiscal years. The fiscal year for the State is July 1 to June 30. Provide samples of your reports.
