Specifications include, but are not limited to: Ada County is requesting proposals from organizations that can provide medical third-party administration (TPA) services for the County’s employee self-funded medical program. Ada County intends to award a contract for TPA services that includes bundled medical claims administration, network, case and disease management, stop loss, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), pharmacy benefit management (PBM), and vision services. However, Ada County reserves the right to carve out PBM, EAP, and vision services, and may have a separate RFP process for these services. These TPA services must be provided beginning October 1, 2022, with Open Enrollment to begin in August 2022. Proposals for dental claims administration services are being requested separately, in RFP 22033 Ada County Dental TPA. Ada County will review proposals from organizations that can provide all of the requested services as explained below. Only organizations licensed to do business in Idaho will be considered. After the initial contract, which ends on September 30, 2023, there will be one-year renewal options for up to five (5) years.
