Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bid Item 1 - Mobilization and Demobilization: This item includes mobilization to the site and demobilization from the site including site clean-up at all project work locations, vehicles and fuel, job trailer, temporary utilities for job trailer and workers, taxes, overhead and profit and bonding. This bid item is based on a lump sum amount.; Bid Item 2 – Sawcut Existing Asphalt and Concrete (Demo): Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and services to properly sawcut and remove existing asphaltic concrete (AC), and concrete (Conc), including any hauling of debris to the Elko County landfill for disposal (fees apply). Primarily performing a 5’ wide AC demolition range for removal or as outlined in the plans and specifications. It is the contractor’s responsibility to demolition and salvage all encountered existing electrical, water valves lids, meter pit covers, sanitary sewer cleanouts and storm drain infrastructure. This bid item is based on a unit price per square yard of AC removed.; Bid Item 3 – Type I Curb & Gutter (Demo): Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and services to properly sawcut and remove existing concrete curb and gutter, including, rebar, attached spandrel & appurtenances and vertical infrastructure commonly found within a residential neighborhood. This bid item also includes any hauling of debris to the Elko County landfill for disposal (fees apply). It is the contractor’s responsibility to demolition and salvage all encountered existing electrical, water valves lids, meter pit covers, sanitary sewer cleanouts and storm drain infrastructure. Bid item is based on a unit price per linear foot of concrete removed.; Bid Item 4 – 5 (ft) Concrete Sidewalk (Demo): Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and services to properly sawcut and remove existing concrete flat work, rebar, attached appurtenances and vertical infrastructure commonly found within a residential neighborhood. This bid item also includes any hauling of debris to the Elko County landfill for disposal (fees apply). It is the contractor’s responsibility to demolition and salvage all encountered existing electrical, water valves lids, meter pit covers, sanitary sewer cleanouts and storm drain infrastructure.
