Specifications include, but are not limited to: Perform a feasibility study of the Kivalina Airport that characterizes issues with the existing airport location, and identifies feasible locations for relocating the Kivalina airport.; Additional work that may be added by Amendment includes but not limited to an Airport Site Selection Study, and ALP update.; The following elements will be components of the feasibility study, the key findings of will be combined into a final report. The final report will be used to determine whether or not the airport Site Selection Study will proceed. • Public involvement; • Gaps analysis and scoping; • Existing conditions inventory, forecasting and determination of requirements; • Wind study; • Identification and analysis of alternatives; • Coastal analysis of existing airport including short, mid and long term threat; • Environmental overview of study area; • LiDAR data collection; • Geotechnical investigation and analysis; • Hydrological study and drainage analysis
