Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The State agrees to grant the contractor the exclusive use of the kitchen and storage room at both Conservation Camps for conducting food service operations. The dining hall at each camp shall function as a classroom when meals are not being served. The Contractor shall also be responsible for keeping this area clean, including but not limited to, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning windows, door jams and walls. B. The State agrees to provide to the Contractor at the time of performance, equipped kitchen and dining room facilities, including ovens, ranges, refrigerators, cooking utensils, silverware, dishes, chinaware, etc., necessary for conducting food service operations. C. The State agrees to furnish all utilities, including heat, hot water, gas and electricity for operating the facilities stated above. D. The Contractor agrees to provide a Food Service Director at each Conservation Camp and staff acceptable to the State. Contractor will employ only persons who meet health standards prescribed by all applicable Federal and State of Vermont laws or regulations for the particular type of employment engaged upon. E. The Contractor agrees to maintain at all times an adequate staff of employees for efficient operation and provide expert administrative, dietetic, and purchasing personnel and further provide proper personnel for supervision, training and advice. F. The Contractor agrees that, if in the opinion of the State representatives (or other designated officer), the conduct of any servant, agent or employee of the Contractor in and about the premises covered by this Agreement interferes with proper services or with proper discipline, at the request of the State representatives (or other designated officer), to remove such servant, agent or employee from service at the operation. G. The Contractor agrees to obtain as a direct expense of the operation all necessary permits and licenses, give all necessary notices and comply with all municipal, state and federal laws, rules, ordinances and regulations relating to the preservation of the public health or applicable to the business carried for all federal, state and local taxes applicable to income and transactions of the Contractor. H. The Contractor agrees that the services to be rendered and the quality of the merchandise furnished shall be of high order and shall be so maintained to the reasonable satisfaction of the State. I. The Contractor agrees to submit a weekly menu for the approval of the State representative at least one (1) week in advance of serving and agrees to establish a menu cycle agreeable to State.
