Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project Coordination including one (1) on‐site 8‐hour meeting with entire team and Town representatives. Two follow‐up 2‐hour virtual meetings for initial inspection, review of progress and final presentation to Building Needs Committee. Written report evaluating the existing building condition and determination of work required to “make safe” for use as passive vehicle & equipment storage including but not limited to: Evaluate feasibility of cold storage vs. warm storage or combination and associated costs. Status of HVAC system, required upgrades projected costs Re‐configuration of existing office space into warm storage for building and grounds and older files for document retention. Investigation mold or other possible environmental hazards and projected remediation costs (destructive investigation may be necessary). Evaluation of roof, chimneys, insulation, siding, lighting, and windows. Full structural evaluation of existing building and of proposed floorplan layouts. Demolition cost as an alternative to make‐safe. Assess current ADA code compliance and provide necessary upgrades on proposed use. Assess current electrical code compliance and provide necessary upgrades on proposed use. Assess current communication code compliance and provide necessary upgrades on proposed use. Assess current fire suppression and protection code compliance and provide necessary upgrades on proposed use. Assess interior floor drain system and functionality to holding tank. Excludes all other exterior civil/site components. Development of Preliminary Cost Estimate to bring the existing structure into local code compliance. Provide preliminary floor plans for the building and sketches for conceptual layout of public works equipment storage with proposed floorplan (e.g. trucks, sanders, plows, roadside mower, loader, excavator, backhoe). Town will provide models and sizes of existing equipment.
