Specifications include, but are not limited to: Collect, transport, and dispose of non-hazardous, State Hospital South (SHS) generated solid waste in a manner that fully conforms to all applicable federal, state, county and city regulations. Equip dumpsters with lids in good, tight-closing condition. Dumpsters placed at SHS Psychiatric Treatment Facility, “C” Building, Administration Building and the Cottages locations must be equipped with lids manufactured of a lightweight material easily lifted by adults with some physical impairments. Equip dumpsters placed at the Psychiatric Treatment Facility with lids that can be operable directly from the loading dock in a manner that permits dumping of trash bags without reaching around to the side opposite the dock. Collect solid waste prior to 12:00 p.m. Mountain Time on the scheduled collection day. Comply fully with the Facility Rules for Contractors with SHS which are set forth in Attachment 10. Schedule and participate with SHS in conducting quarterly inspections of the dumpsters. Respond to requests from SHS for additions or reductions to the number of dumpsters in service and or increasing or decreasing the frequency of collections, including assignment of costs for special short or long-term needs.
