Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Work shall include the removal of the existing roof systems down to the deck.; 2. Properly prepare and clean the deck before applying a full application of asphalt primer as per the manufacturer’s recommendations.; 3. Adhere one base layer of one-half inch (1/2”) fiber board set in hot asphalt.; 4. Adhere an additional layer of the one-half inch (1/2”) fiber board set in hot asphalt.; 5. Install all associated crickets as noted on the roof plan.; 5. Provide four plies of Type VI felt set in hot asphalt as specified.; 6. Provide new aggregate surfacing set in the specified hot asphalt.; 7. Provide and install new through wall drains and over-flow scuppers as noted on the roof plan.; 8. Provide a twenty (20) year NDL manufacturer's warranty and a two (2) year contractor's warranty.; 9. New metal shall be prefinished, selected by the Owner from a full range of colors including premium and metallics.; 10. Work shall also include all HVAC and electrical, piping dis-connect and reconnection.; 11. Installation shall be as per NRCA, SMACNA, ANSI/SPRI, specifications, details and manufacturer's guidelines. All gas lines to be tested and certified by a master plumber.
