Specifications include, but are not limited to: Master planning services for the NH Veterans Home located in Tilton, NH. Our current Master Plan was last updated over a decade ago by Lavallee Brensinger Architects and design guides, best practices, industry standards, and infection control measures have since changed. The Master Plan will serve as our foundational document in executing our capital and operational budgetary program and will also drive our operations, maintenance, and construction planning for the next two or more decades. ; The Contractor shall provide Master Planning services to include but not limited to: • Review of 2011 NHVH Master Plan originally drafted by Lavallee Brensinger Architects https://www.nh.gov/veterans/about/documents/mstrplan.pdf. Facilitate and lead Master Planning Focus groups ensuring diversity of thought and ensuring a wide range of stakeholder input is considered to be incorporated into the Master Plan. • Work closely with maintenance staff and fellow departments in collecting most updated data to be incorporated into the revised Master Plan. • Review the existing services provided by the NHVH and evaluate current and projected Level of Service based upon the most current demographic, land use, construction, and medical trends. • Determine programmatic space needs for each department to provide the intended services for the foreseeable future. • Examine the facilities in which each department are housed to determine adequacy to provide these services. • Examine whether the existing or alternative locations or configurations for each of these functions would allow for better provision of service to our veterans and staff.
