Specifications include, but are not limited to: Faculty, staff and students need to easily find the resources they need. Institutional websites are more student recruitment and outward facing. In addition, the large variety of websites at each institution sometimes makes it difficult to know where to find specific internal information. To serve the community needs each campus has focused on portal-based solutions. Each campus currently has a different solution with separate maintenance and costs. A solution to meet needs across USNH must support both situations where we have centralized services such as our HR and Finance systems or Microsoft 365 and other situations where each school will have its one unique environment like separate student information system (SIS) and Canvas LMS instances for each school. The system should provide users with an appropriately branded view of services, tools, announcements, and the like based on their role associated with a given campus.
