Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1.1 Conduct all analyses using approved EPA-methods or methods from Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater (20th Edition, 1998) in accordance with proper quality control protocols.; 2.1.2 Provide sample containers for bacteriological and metals samples and prepare reagents for preservation of samples when necessary as notified by the Division.; 2.1.3 Provide the Division with hard copies of the chemistry results as well as electronic copies in a timely manner (within 2 months of sample delivery to laboratory). Laboratory results should include MDLs and quantitation limits with data censored at the MDL and reported with appropriate data qualifiers (U for results less than the MDL, J for results above the MDL but below the PQL or ML, etc.) for evaluation by the Division. Chemistry results are evaluated by Division for waterbody assessment purposes, not compliance monitoring.; 2.1.4 Furnish a copy of the laboratories Quality Manual or Quality Assurance Program Plan.; 2.1.5 Submit itemized monthly billings to the Division that shows analyses completed and corresponding costs for the analyses conducted.
