Specifications include, but are not limited to: Review Preferred Alternatives from the Feasibility Study Assess whether the preferred alternatives adequately address issues identified in the Potential Failure Mode Analysis. If not, provide alternatives to include in the rehabilitation. Conduct Field Studies Determine which field studies are needed to complete final design. A geotechnical investigation will likely be needed at the spillway. Other considerations are provided in Section 4.1 of the Alternatives Summary Report. Perform these studies and any others as necessary. Prepare Final Design Conduct all geotechnical, structural, hydrologic/hydraulic analyses necessary to produce a final design report including, but not necessarily limited to the following components: A new spillway Outlet works valve refurbishment A new gatehouse and parking area for tower access Seepage control berms at the downstream toe Instrumentation system upgrades A new bridge across spillway approach channel Riprap repairs on the upstream face Provide Construction Management Services The firm shall provide the following construction management services: Provide a bid package for construction advertising including plans and specifications Assist in selecting a contractor Provide a Resident Project Representative to manage construction oversight Document the rehabilitation project with a final construction report, As-Built plans, finished grade site survey, and CAD drawings.
