Specifications include, but are not limited to: Professional services to provide Software as a Service (SaaS) hosting and support services for a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Electronic Disease Surveillance System (NEDSS) based system. The awarded vendor will be contracted to provide NEDSS based SaaS for the State of Delaware. In addition to hosting, the scope of services includes initial installation, configuration, integration with required interfacing applications and entities, and transformation and importation of legacy systems disease surveillance data and case data. The awarded vendor shall provide operational implementation support, training, and ongoing maintenance and support of the application installation. Legacy systems include the Delaware Electronic Reporting & Surveillance System (DERSS) used for bioterrorism and over 100 different types of disease outbreaks, the CDC Sexually Transmitted Disease Management Information System (STD*MIS) used to surveil sexually transmitted disease, and Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) used to track Animal Bites and the Zika Virus.
