Nominal Thickness: 7/8 inch (22.2 mm).; a. Site verify and match existing sheathing thickness.; 3. Grade: CC; FASTENERS A. General: Roof Sheathing fasteners provide fasteners of size and type indicated that comply with requirements specified in this article for material and manufacture.; 1. For roof sheathing, provide fasteners w/ manufacturers proprietary corrosion resistant coating, or equal to or greater than requirements for hot-dip zinc coating complying with ASTM A153/A153M.; B. Nails, Brads, and Staples: ASTM F1667.; C. Power-Driven Fasteners: Fastener systems with an evaluation report acceptable to authorities having jurisdiction, based on ICC-ES AC70. ; A. General: Provide structural fall restraint and fall arrest system capable of withstanding loads and stresses within limits and under conditions specified in OSHA and other applicable safety codes. Provide fall protection anchors permanently attached to roof structure.; B. Design Requirements: Anchors and accessories comprising system of following types:; a. Guardian Ridge-It Anchors, spaced as indicated by manufacturer, for safety snap connection by individual workers capable of withstanding a 5,000 pound load or safety factor of 2 meeting the requirements of OSHA 1926.502(d)(8). ; A. Examine substrates, areas, and conditions, with Installer present, for compliance with requirements for installation tolerances and other conditions affecting performance of the Work. ; a. Examine roof sheathing to verify that sheathing joints are supported by framing and blocking or metal clips and that installation is within flatness tolerances. ; b. Verify that substrate is sound, dry, smooth, clean, sloped for drainage, and completely anchored and that provisions have been made for flashings and penetrations through asphalt shingles. ; c. Verify that vent stacks and other penetrations through roofing are installed and securely fastened. ; B. Prepare written report, endorsed by Installer, listing conditions detrimental to performance of the Work. ; C. Proceed with installation only after unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected.
