Specifications include, but are not limited to: A "Lead Trainer" to execute the new Experience Training Program (ETP) for South Dakota Appraiser Trainees. The ETP is intended to be an ongoing program guiding appraiser-trainees through the requirements to achieve the desired level of licensure of certification. The Lead Trainer’s responsibilities in executing the ETP include: 1. Providing in-person and virtual training. 2. Developing learning modules and "real world" case studies that includes a series of single-unit residential properties and two- to four-unit income producing properties in the initial two years of the ETP. 3. Facilitating the entire development and reporting of Appraisal Reports, as defined by the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) by: • Preparing, for each subject property, a detailed scope of work that addresses the appraisal fundamentals, type and detail of subject property inspection(s), market data collection and analysis, and appraisal report preparation. • Providing direct supervision, mentoring, and work product review to the appraiser-trainees. • Assessing and strengthening the appraiser-trainees' individual level of competence in each step of the appraisal process. • Evaluating each appraisal assignment for the proper application of accepted appraisal methods and techniques to assure minimal USPAP compliance. • Measuring on-going progress of each appraiser-trainee by monitoring that each assignment entered on the appraisal assignment log was satisfactorily completed.
