Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department’s Division of Behavioral Health is seeking one (1) Contractor to provide Recovery Coach training, mentoring and job referral services; The Contractor must: Maintain a valid phone number and email address specifically for the Recovery Coach Training Academy’s (the Academy[’s]) communication. Maintain hours of operation that are conducive for interested parties to contact the Academy. Incoming phone calls must be taken by a live customer service representative from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time, Monday through Friday, with the exception of State or Federally recognized holidays. Hours of operation must be clearly posted on all program content to include websites, brochures, and presentations. Work with the Department of Health and Welfare (Department) to determine which areas in the state Recovery Coach Academy and Supervisor trainings will be held annually. Adhere to IDAPA 16.05.06 regarding criminal history background checks. The cost of criminal history background checks must be at the Contractor’s expense and are not reimbursable through the funding of the Contract.; he Contractor must develop and implement: A Recovery Coach curriculum in accordance with the Certified Recovery Coach requirements of the Idaho Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification (IBADCC) https://www.ibadcc.org/crc. The Academy must provide at minimum thirty (30) hours of education and training, and a minimum of sixteen (16) hours of ethical responsibility for Recovery Coaches. A curriculum in accordance with the IBADCC (https://www.ibadcc.org/crc) requirements for Recovery Coach Supervisor. The Recovery Coach Supervisor Training must be a minimum of sixteen (16) hours and modeled after the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s Supervision of Peer Worker’s training and technical assistance resources. A curriculum for the delivery of virtual Recovery Coach, ethical responsibility, and Recovery Coach Supervisor trainings to be used in case of a public health crisis, or when a participant has no means to attend in-person trainings. For example, the participant lives in a rural area and attending Academy trainings would incur a financial hardship due to travel and obtaining lodging for the duration of the training. Participants placed in virtual trainings will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
