Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Incorporation of State supplied 42’ Calvin Beal hull and cabin top ; 2. Incorporation of State supplied appropriately sized marine diesel engine and gear ; 3. Adequate Cabin Space for a minimum of four (4) officers and equipment; 4. The ability to haul and set lobster traps as are commonly fished by Maine commercial lobstermen; 5. Open stern design capable of launching, recovering, and carrying a 14’ RHI small boat; 6. Minimum 500 gallon diesel fuel capacity; 7. Installation of State supplied marine navigation electronics; 8. Construction materials used shall meet marine industry standards and/or commonly used aboard Maine commercial fishing vessels of similar construction.
