Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Provide plastic sheeting and protection for vacant offices below work area.; • Provide protection for floors from work area to loading dock.; • Remove all existing drain lines/piping, P-traps, floor sinks (as necessary), hangers (as necessary), insulation and dispose of properly. Supply lines and HVAC system cooling lines are excluded. HVAC floor drain lines in the same areas tying to the common drain lines in the area will be included.; • Replace all existing drain lines/piping, P-traps, hangers, and insulation with new material similar to existing. Submittal of materials is required.; • Vent piping is excluded past first accessible joint/location.; • Replace the following cast iron: o Approximately 250’ of 6” pipe; o Approximately 300’ of 4” pipe; o Approximately 100’ of 3” pipe; o Approximately 250’ of 2” pipe; • Install new hangers and all thread rod every 10’ and on either side of each fitting as needed per code.; • A full leak test will be required prior to insulation being installed. Leak test must be witnessed by State Preservation Board.; • Relevel piping to maintain flow of systems per applicable code.; • Insulate all new piping and fittings with similar insulation materials to existing of same thickness and rating.; • All demolition materials and spoils must be properly disposed of by the Contractor and cannot be placed in onsite State dumpsters.; • Clean up jobsite area upon completion of the project.
