Specifications include, but are not limited to: Delaware Technical and Community College provides a Commercial Transportation training program. The training program provides classroom theory and practical experience behind the wheel of primarily diesel trucks and trailers. In order to keep a safe training environment and road conditions, we must adhere to Federal and State regulations to maintain trucks and trailers in a safe operable manner. This requires annual Department of Transportation (DOT) inspections, general maintenance, and/or repairs. Further, the College has other departments state-wide with gasoline and diesel-powered trucks and trailers. DOT inspections, general maintenance, and/or repairs under this RFP may be utilized by various departments at all DTCC campuses. In addition, those other departments may have other gasoline and diesel-powered equipment that need general maintenance, and/or repairs. When those needs may be met by Vendor(s) selected under this RFP, those departments may utilize this RFP for this purpose.
