Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Develop a complete street concept plan for a rural setting in accordance with RTC and NDOT policies; • Layout opportunities for safety improvements for pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists, including but not limited to geometrics, lighting, signage, striping, etc. Incorporate recommendations from the June 2019 River Mountains Loop Trail Improvements Study prepared by RTC.; • Transportation engineering design including turning movements; • Landscape plans including opportunities for shade along pedestrian routes and trails; • Conduct stakeholder meetings to listen to concerns and adjust the design accordingly; • Utility design as required to serve the project; • Drainage design to address known drainage issues along the corridor, including storm drain clogging and maintenance access to drainage facilities; • Irrigation system design as required to serve the project; • Assist the City with selection of a CMAR for the project at the 30% design level ; • Work with the City and CMAR to create 60%, 90% and final 100% design plans for the CMAR’s use for pre-construction reviews and in preparing the Guaranteed Maximum Price for construction; • Work with the CMAR to secure permits from the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT)
