Specifications include, but are not limited to: The WCC will lead and facilitate (with support and assistance from the Consultant) interviews with 5-10 local employers and/or leaders of business groups to ascertain and provide the following information to the Consultant: Gaps in transportation services available for employees; Strengths of current transportation programs and services; Brainstorming ideas/suggestions of new and existing transportation services to direct efforts and resources for sustained funding and operations; The Consultant will lead (with WCC support and assistance) development of a short survey for local health & human services (and other community partners such as municipalities). The WCC will lead and facilitate interviews with these partners as needed to maximize responses to the survey. The survey will ascertain: Gaps in transportation services and populations currently not served or underserved by existing programs, including logistical/practical limitations to current programs i.e. volunteer/staff capacity sometimes results in cancellation of scheduled rides; Strengths of current transportation programs and systems; Brainstorming ideas/suggestions of new and existing transportation services to direct efforts and resources for sustained funding and operations ; The Consultant will utilize results from the interviews and surveys to include in the final report and inform recommendations. The final report will also include: Identification of existing commuter, shopping, and other fixed routes, including ridership and costs; Identification of other eligible types of rides covered by existing funding programs, including E&D, NEMT, Rides to Wellness, Recovery & Jobs Access, and other demandresponse services, including ridership and costs of each program; Identification of populations and types of rides not served by current programs and services, i.e. “needs analysis”
