Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Inventory of NIMAS files, PDFs, and printed materials as the material arrives from publishers; B. Verification of usability of NIMAS files as they arrive from publishers; TEA will provide the awarded contractor with the File Quality Checklist during the contract kickoff meeting; C. Providing emailed reports by February 4, March 4, and April 1, 2022, to the TEA contract manager on each of the following: 1. NIMAS files that have been accepted; 2. NIMAS files that have not been sent by publishers; 3. NIMAS files that were rejected because of poor quality; and 4. Status of all print materials and PDFs that have been received by the publishers. ; D. Long-term storage, safekeeping, and security for NIMAS files and BRF files temporarily entrusted to the contractor. (All of these files are the exclusive property of TEA and must only be used as directed by TEA.); E. Furnishing the facility, personnel, equipment, and supplies necessary to produce and proofread BRF files and graphics.; F. Producing instructional materials, including graphics, through computerized means (i.e., direct computer input or computerized braille translation) when computerized means can provide the highest quality. The most current effective technology must be used to produce graphics.; G. Providing the designated copies contractor(s) with a BRF file for each volume of text and hard copies of any tactile graphic masters that need to be thermoformed.; • BRF files should include an advisement that the copy is to be produced as interpoint or single-sided, as appropriate.; • The first three volumes of BRF files of each assigned instructional material must be delivered no later than June 13, 2022.; • The remaining volumes of each assigned instructional material must be delivered by August 8, 2022, for all orders received by June 1, 2022
