Specifications include, but are not limited to: he External Evaluator will serve, as required by the funder, an independent third-party evaluator, for the Indigenous Perspectives in School Librarianship (IPSL) project, funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) 21st Century Library Grant. The evaluator will provide formative evaluation to determine the fidelity between the project in theory and the project in action and summative evaluation to assess the project’s progress toward expected outcomes. The External Evaluator will report to the PI. The tools and protocols created by the External Evaluator will be used by the Graduate Research Assistant for data collection. Required Qualifications: Experience in evaluating federally funded educational programs Effective communication skills Evidence of planning and organizational skills The External Evaluator will: Meet with the PI as needed Attend Advisory Board meetings (quarterly) Develop evaluation tools according to the evaluation plan (see attached) Review the data collection of the GRA to ensure fidelity Provide timely, relevant evaluation feedback and recommendation to the PI and Advisory Board Provide written formative and summative evaluations to be included in project reports to the funding agency
