Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Airport Security Officer (ASO) Services 2. Electric Cart Operation & Passenger Assistance Services; AIRPORT SECURITY OFFICER (ASO) SERVICES RIAC prefers that the services within the scope of this RFP are performed by one (1) firm, however, use of a subcontractor for parts of the scope of services herein is allowable. Any services provided by subcontractors must be clearly identified in each firm’s proposal. RIAC shall be provided a copy of any contractual agreements between the selected firm and subcontractors performing any part of the scope of services pertaining to this RFP. Staffing requirements for each of the service areas are provided in more detail in the Staffing section. The chosen firm must have previous ASO services experience and will be required to provide interior and exterior unarmed, uniformed, ASO services for the following: • Security ID Badge inspections; • Protection of the Sterile Area Exit lane; • Inspection of vehicles entering restricted areas; • Traffic and pedestrian control; and • Any other occasions where additional security may be required on an “as needed” basis, as requested by RIAC; II. Electric Cart Operation The selected firm will provide one (1) driver (with a valid driver’s license) to assist passengers and operate the electric cart transporting passengers between the Interlink Facility and the Bruce Sundlun Terminal Building at PVD along with dispatch capabilities to receive calls from RIAC, other tenants, and passengers. Operator of the cart must also be able to assist and maneuver wheelchairs, if necessary. In an effort to provide continuity of service, driver and/or dispatch personnel, must be able to communicate in an effective and efficient manner with other cart/wheelchair service providers in the terminal building to ensure seamless transfers and a consistent level of excellent service.
