Specifications include, but are not limited to: Red Clay Consolidated School District is planning to utilize ERATE Category II funding Vendor to upgrade the network cabling in one section of Mote Elementary. This section of the school includes 18 classrooms (rooms 101 through 138). Vendor will install 109 CAT6 data lines (102 yellow CAT6 that will go to the classrooms and 7 blue CAT6 that will go to the existing IP security cameras) and 19 green CAT6a data lines to the existing access points (one indoor access point in each classroom and one to an outdoor access point) as well as the necessary patch panels required. Vendor will also need to provide 18 ten foot white CAT6a patch cables (non-booted) to connect the existing classroom access points to the new CAT6a drop. This project will also include the demo of the classroom existing drops, which include data, voice, coax and fiber. Demo of existing lines will be demoed back to the IDF in room 110 and/or the MDF closet. The existing wall-mounted rack in room 110 will also need to be demoed. There is a new IDF closet that will be utilized for all of the new cabling for this project. Patch cables for the patch panels will NOT need to be provided by the vendor. Attending a walk-through is highly recommended for this project. Vendor is responsible for installation, termination, testing and documentation of all cabling. Each cable is to be labeled as per Red Clay technology dept. instructions. Cabling test results must be submitted to the Red Clay technology dept prior to submitting the invoice for the project. Vendor must be on the State of Delaware approved contract for Data and Voice Structured Cabling, Contract No. GSS21441-DATA_CBL.
