Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Media-buying expertise, specifically in traditional media channels (terrestrial radio, broadcast television, out-of-home, etc.); • Experience positioning at both a regional level.; • Experience in conducting marketing research and the ability to demonstrate how research shaped and informed subsequent campaigns.; • A proven track record in developing and executing multi-media marketing campaigns, preferably including experience at the higher-education level.; • Ability to provide strategic consulting services, including but not limited to, recommendations on terrestrial radio, broadcast television, out-of-home, print, advertising and other forms of marketing communications.; • All creative must reflect the current UHCL brand, tagline, and branding philosophy.; • Awarded vendor shall conduct a thorough analysis of opportunities within the Houston DMA for traditional media (print, radio, television and out-of-home).; • The account executive shall meet on a regular basis with the AVP for Marketing and Communications and become familiar with the goals and objectives of UHCL and the target audiences to identify current strategies and meet varying objectives within the advertising budget.; • Provide media recommendations using updated media research tools and analysis methods for the strategic placement of advertising to reach the UHCL service area and its ethnic and socio-economic diversity.; • Awarded vendor shall, with the approval of the AVP for Marketing and Communications, purchase and distribute advertising in recommended media. Contracts with media outlets will be between the media outlet and the awarded vendor. If there is a need for the media outlet to have a direct contract with UHCL, all such contracts must go through the purchasing procedures and contracts must be signed according to UHCL policy.; • Awarded vendor shall provide budget status updates to the AVP for Marketing and Communications in conjunction with invoices.; • Awarded vendor shall provide accountability for all media placed on behalf of the UHCL and provide the necessary proof of performance.
