Specifications include, but are not limited to: Professional services of a company to work as a collaborative partner in providing pre-production design and development, fabrication and installation of an interpretive area that will replicates historic books which are found in our Badger Historic Site not to exceed $45,000. Badger Hole was the home to Badger Clark, South Dakota’s first Poet Laurette. Over the course of his life, Badger collected numerous books. These books have become a show piece within the cabin. The Park would like to start the process of preserving these historic books. To do this we need to replicate the books so they still tell the story of the Badger Hole Cabin. The park would like the replication to show the titles of the books and wear and tear, so that visitors can see what books Badger Clark collected and the stories behind them. There are over 1,000 books, magazines and journals in the collection. The park has a list of all the titles, their locations and photos of each book.
