Specifications include, but are not limited to: Qualified vendors to provide watercraft rentals of non-motorized watercraft to park visitors. The Nevada Division of State Parks (NDSP) intends to award a new concession lease through this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the exclusive operation and maintenance of a Non-Motorized Water Sports Concession at the Sand Harbor State Park. The objective of this RFP is to allow visitors to rent non-motorized water sports equipment at Sand Harbor during regular park hours. Sand Harbor is seeking a highly qualified operator with the knowledge, enthusiasm, creativity, and resources to successfully provide high-quality services through this concession operation. The concession will provide kayak and stand-up paddleboard paddle-sport equipment, and accessories, to the visitors of Sand Harbor at both per hour and per day rates. Other types of non-motorized rental watercraft will be subject to approval by the Park Supervisor. The anticipated period of operation for this rental concession is expected to be March through November of each year, with weather dependent daily operation period Saturday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
