Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The Contractor must: 1. Provide two (2) short term transitional beds for adult women clients, referred by the Department’s Regional Behavioral Health Centers who are experiencing crisis due to a mental illness. a) Short term is defined as one (1) to thirty (30) calendar days in duration. b) The facility must be located in Region 3 https://healthandwelfare.idaho.gov/healthwellness/community-health/public-health-districts. 2. Ensure a house manager is available by telephone at all times for potential admissions. a) Admissions to the facility may occur at any time; twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. 3. Provide client consultation as requested by the Department’s Region 3 Behavioral Health Center clinical staff on an as-needed basis. 4. Provide the client with a bed supplied with basic customary amenities such as: bed, sheets, blankets, pillows, etc. a) The room in which the bed is located must not be used as a community space for other residents. 5. Notify the client of the facility’s policy, procedures, and rules at the time of client arrival. 6. Immediately contact local law enforcement if the client exhibits behavior that places themselves or others at risk and then contact the Contract monitor. 7. Allow the client to manage their own medication.
