Specifications include, but are not limited to: Fire Prevention and Suppression: To provide for turnkey fire prevention and initial response to fire incidents, vendor must provide one (1) Type 1 Fire Engine with four (4) certified and trained fire personnel. All personnel must be trained and certified by the State they currently work, and/or IFSAC/Pro Board. At least one of these individuals must have additional experience and certifications to serve as the strike team leader. At least one of these individuals must be certified as an EMT certified by National Registry or the State they currently work. The personnel, protective equipment for each firefighter, Fire Engine and associated equipment will be the sole responsibility of the vendor. Personnel must work 12-hour shifts, with 4 personnel on duty at all times. Communication device(s) must be required in the event the facility or TDEM needs to make direct contact with fire personnel.; Treatment and Transport: To provide for turnkey treatment and transport, vendor must provide one (1) Advanced Life Support Ambulance with two (2) trained and certified medical personnel. All personnel must be trained and certified according to the state in which they currently work or according to the National Registry. At least one individual must have the training and certification to work as a Paramedic. The personnel, supplies, ambulance, and associated equipment will be the sole responsibility of the vendor. Personnel must work 12-hour shifts, with two (2) personnel on duty at all times. Communication device(s) must be required in the event the facility or TDEM needs to make direct contact with medical personnel.; Stable Patient Medical Monitoring: To provide for turnkey monitoring and evaluation of stable patients, vendor will provide a temporary facility (tent). The temporary facility and associated monitoring equipment provided by the vendor and must include electricity (generator as appropriate) and HVAC capabilities. Note: The temporary facility (tent) must also be used for the onsite fire and medical emergency response personnel rehab and general shelter for daily operations.
