Specifications include, but are not limited to: Information concerning the furnishing of services for STATEWIDE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH MOBILE CRISIS SERVICES. The Department is issuing this RFI to solicit information from private providers regarding their interest and capacity to provide Behavioral Health Mobile Crisis Response services statewide, and to determine what barriers might exist that would prevent these services being provided. DBH seeks to expand and integrate services currently provided by regional clinicians in the response to designated mental health crises through a network of Behavioral Health Mobile Crisis Response Teams (MCRT) throughout the state of Idaho including rural frontier regions. Currently, services are provided statewide at a regional level, Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m. local time with the goal of reducing inappropriate emergency room admissions and law enforcement detainment and increasing engagement into services where determined beneficial. The proposed model would integrate with the current emergency services and crisis response continuum. It would facilitate the delivery of Behavioral Health Mobile Crisis Response services in all regions of the State and include the capacity to respond to children and adults experiencing a behavioral health crisis such as a mental health and or a substance use related mental health crisis.
