Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1.1.1. The ICP – MS must be equipped with a cell capable of KED/Reaction/Collision interference removal technology and at leas t 2 specialty gas channels, three is preferred.; 2.1.1.2. The system must have the ability to switch modes during a single sample analysis. For example, standard mode to KED without re-aspirating the sample.; 2.1.1.3. A single quadrupole ICP-MS capable of filtering ions based on mass to change ratio is the minimum requirement. A Triple quadrupole ICP-MS capable of performing selective mass filtering prior to the KED/Reaction/Collision call is preferred.; 2.1.1.4. The ICP-MS must include and integrate with an autosampler with FAST technology from Elemental Scientific Inc with a 240+ sample capacity (in 17 x 120mm, 15ml tubes). Must include autosampler enclosure with airflow maintained by HEPA filtration.; 2.1.1.5. The system must come with a chiller or recirculatory required for operation based on manufacturer and specifications and recommendations.; 2.1.1.6. Installation supplies kit and consumables necessary for instrument verification are required, including but not limited to: setup and tuning solutions, exhaust hose and clamps, waste carboys, regulators with tubing/connections and filter(s) for specialty gases used for interference removal, autosampler prob, peristaltic tubing, nebulizer (PFA-ST preferred), cyclonic spray chamber, injector, torch, RF coil, cones (platinum preferred), ion lens.; 2.1.1.7. System must have the ability to integrate with HPLC equipment and software if specification is pursued in the future.; 2.1.1.8. System must be equipped with wider linear dynamic range detectors capable of accurately measuring several orders of magnitude from single ppt to ppm levels in a singular analysis.
