Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Provide all engineering, design, and survey work necessary to provide complete and comprehensive plans and specifications for implementation. 2. Work closely with the City Capital Facilities, Public Works and Port Departments. 3. Ensure the project meets the Owner’s goals. 4. Assist with value engineering as necessary. 5. Keep the project within budget and on schedule. 6. Provide cost estimates and estimated duration for construction no earlier than 65% design. 7. Report to City’s Project Manager on progress, concerns, and needs. 8. Advise on and coordinate submittal of all required permit documentation with regulatory agencies on behalf of the City. 9. Oversight of the design team contract. 10. Provide construction support services during construction. 11. Oversight of all project close-out requirements. 12. Review project redlines for completeness and develop final as-built record drawings. 13. Provide City with survey, drawing, and specification files in a format agreeable to the City
