Specifications include, but are not limited to: Will include the first 20 miles of hauling with the individual receivers paying the difference in the delivery charge.; The vendor shall remove the entire contents of 1 lagoon, (approximately 4,000 to 7,000 Tons annually) of dewatered lime sludge per calendar year with a guaranteed 3,000-ton minimum. Any additional hauling from other then the lagoon assigned for that year will count towards the next year’s minimum.; The vendor, subject to review by the City, shall develop and administer all lime sludge recycling efforts.; The primary contact between the contractor and the City shall be with the Water Plant Superintendent.; The vendor shall procure all recycling/reuse locations. Upon request, the contractor shall provide the City with verification of compliance with all federal, state, and local permits, rules, regulations, and ordinances regarding temporary/long-term storage, application site, distribution, and transportation of municipal water treatment lime sludge.; The accepted methods of recycling include land application and feedlot delivery. Any recycling methods other than those mentioned previously shall be approved by the City prior to commencement of such activities.; The vendor shall not, without prior knowledge and approval of the City, stockpile, landfill, or use the lime sludge for fill material.
