Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vehicle Hoist Maintenance. FIRST SEMI-ANNUAL MAINTENANCE A. Inspect lifting chains and components for deformation, wear, and corrosion. B. Inspect all hydraulic components for leaks, deformation, wear, or corrosion. C. Tighten all fasteners and hydraulic fittings as required. D. Ensure all O-rings boss fittings and jam nuts are tightened to 15 foot-pounds. E. Remove, reseal, and reinstall any pipe fittings that are leaking. Use UNYTE Thread Sealant or equivalent on fitting threads. F. Inspect anchor conditions for any possible corrosion and inspect the floor for any signs of fatigue or fractures. G. Wipe cylinders, wiper seals and the base of each post to remove any weeping oil and dust. H. Verify fluid level and fill if needed with manufacture’s recommended fluid. I. Lubricate the arm restraint assemblies to insure free and smooth operation. J. Cycle unit to full height and bleed approximately thirty (30) seconds. SECOND SEMI-ANNUAL MAINTENANCE A. Inspect lifting chains and components for deformation, wear, and corrosion. B. Inspect all hydraulic components for leaks, deformation, wear, or corrosion. C.
