Specifications include, but are not limited to: In the event that work will be required during this project, possible flood fighting activities may include: • Opening and operating clay stockpile sites or borrow pit(s). • Placing, shaping, and compacting earth material on top of existing levees at various locations. • Assisting in the installation of the stop log closure systems at locations where access openings exist in the levee/floodwall system. • Dislodging floating trees, logs, or other debris hung up at the south pedestrian bridge and directing them to continue floating downstream. • Removal of earthen materials placed on levee tops and removal of stop log closure systems. • Minor flood debris removal and cleanup. • Other work as directed by the City.
