This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will be not be issued.

The Armed Forced Medical Examiner System (AFMES) Division of Forensic Toxicology (DFT) has a requirement for the Brand Name or Equal, AB Sciex 3200 Atmospheric Pressure Ionization (API) LC/MS/MS Mass Spectrometer/Shimadzu Nexera LC-30AD Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatograph System in accordance with (IAW) the Minimum Essential Characteristics (MEC) and the Performance Work Statement (PWS) identified in the attached Request for Quote (RFQ).
The acquisition is full and open competition using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) selection procedures. Reference attached RFQ for detailed information on the requirement, how to respond, and evaluation criteria.

This RFQ as well as any amendments will be used electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and FAR 5.102. As a result, hard copies will not be provided.
