This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will be not be issued.

The Armed Forced Medical Examiner System (AFMES) Division of Forensic Toxicology (DFT) has a requirement for Brand Name of Equal-Reagents for use on Advanced Analytical Fragment Analyzer in accordance with (IAW) the Minimum Essential Characteristics (MEC) identified in the attached Request for Quote (RFQ).
The acquisition is full and open competition using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) selection procedures. Reference attached RFQ for detailed information on the requirement, how to respond, and evaluation criteria.
Questions in response to the RFQ are due no later than, Thursday, 17 August 2017, 10:00 A.M, ET. NOTE: All questions must be sent via email: kimberly.s.hannan.civ@mail.mil and patrick.k.harris.civ@mail.mil only one (1) set of questions will be accepted from each vendor. No phones calls will be accepted.

This RFQ as well as any amendments will be used electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and FAR 5.102. As a result, hard copies will not be provided.
