Specifications include, but are not limited to: expand and enclose a sufficiently large enough space for vehicular transport operations andadministrative intake booking procedures. New space shall provide enclosed, secured, and heated space for externalHiland Mountain Correctional Center (HMCC) HMCC Stakeholders such as Anchorage Police Department (APD) andDepartment of Public Safety (DPS) vehicles. Adjacent space will be renovated to provide new administrative officespace, with adjacent rooms for dress-out and / or required isolation for security intake activities. Safety being thehighest priority, new Admin and Intake office space shall be logistically located to be easily and quickly accessible fromHMCC Medical, Mental Health, and Shift Supervisory Officer’s locations.
