Specifications include, but are not limited to: MOWING SERVICE Weekly, starting approximately mid-March and ending approximately November 1, as needed. 1. Lawn areas shall be mowed at the appropriate height and frequency to keep them looking neat at all times. Mowing height shall average approximately three (3) inches and shall vary depending on type of grass, turf surface, and time of season. Mowing height shall be raised slightly in summer and gradually lowered in the fall to prepare the turf for winter. Mowing direction shall be changed every week (as permitted by terrain) in accordance with sound horticultural practices. 2. Clippings may be left to disintegrate and return valuable nutrients to the soil. If clippings become clumped from wetness or delay in mowing, they shall be spread or removed to prevent unsightliness. Clippings shall be removed where they will be tracked onto sidewalks or building areas.
