Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department’s Division of Welfare is seeking proposals for a contractor to build and support an automated platform for schools/school districts to use to submit data for issuance of a P-EBT food benefit, based on federal eligibility criteria, for Idaho students who receive free and reduced meals. The system must be able to store student, classroom, and school level attendance and whether the student attended school in person, virtually or in a hybrid model. The system must receive data from schools/districts, be able to calculate a benefit amount and communicate with our Department system that in turn communicates with our electronic benefit transfer (EBT) vendor to issue a benefit payment. The system must allow for multiple users to simultaneously enter data into a secure portal.
